  • Gateway Center
    at Epworth city entrance, rest stop & historical display
  • Jacoby Walkway
    One mile walking trail along Jacoby Drive at the south city limits.   The trail connects to the city sidewalk system.
  • Heritage Trail
    Midwest’s most scenic all-season trail, provides year-round activity for walkers, bikers, snowmobilers, and cross-country skiers. Trail segment located 1 mile north of Epworth. Follow the 26 mile route of a once bustling railroad into a 450’ valley past old mining and mill towns. www.dubuquecounty.com
  • Centennial Ballpark
    Softball and baseball complex offers league and tournament events.
  • Bark Park
    Dog park is located north side of Centennial Park 501 1st Ave NE.  Breed restriction - no pit bull or pit bull mix breeds.

    Playground and picnic area located at 110 Bierman Road
  • Splash Pad, at Tower Park, open daily Memorial weekend thru Labor Day    
  • Tower Park
    Playground and picnic facility with pavilion and grills, located in center of town.   Pavilion rentals are taken at City Hall at 876-3320.
  • Game Courts
    Public facility for open play of tennis, pickleball, and basketball 8 am to 8 pm
  • Railroad Caboose & Museum
    adjacent to Tower Park, Epworth
  • Timberline Golf Course
    Located in rural Epworth
  • Epworth Gun Club
    12487 Gun Club Road, just north of city limits. Facility open May-Oct. Clay pigeon shooting and annual events.
